Ope is a technologist with over fifteen years building products for schools. She founded and led Kibo, an accredited online computer science university for African students. Previously, she led product for Google Classroom, growing it from one million to over forty million users. Ope has extensive experience teaching school leaders to build automations, including leading training sessions for the Charter School Growth Fund portfolio and for operations leaders at AI for Equity. She serves on the board of Zeta, a network of high-performing K-12 charter schools in New York.
Funmi is an Automation Specialist at Zeta Charter Schools, where he builds and runs the automations for a 3,000-student network. He also serves as a Technical Trainer for Cambridge Spark, helping businesses in the UK educate their workforce in data science and AI. He’s a PMI-certified program manager with a passion for building workflows that turn manual, spreadsheet-heavy processes into reliable, scalable systems. He was previously an operations data analyst at Kibo, and taught automation skills to early-career technologists through Sourcing Sprints.

Nope! No coding experience is necessary to take the class. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to start building automations using Claude Code. When there’s code, Claude writes it and you verify the results — learning to direct and review it is the skill we’re teaching.
This bootcamp was built for busy professionals. You’ll attend a weekly 90-minute live class in weeks 1–4, and will also spend about 2 hours outside of class each week on your own build. Plan for about 30 hours total over the 6 week period, including time spent on your final project.

No, and deliberately so. Our primary focus is on school operations. We cover some academic operations, but don’t touch instruction or classroom AI.
Covered in session two, before you build anything that touches student information. You’ll leave with a checklist for deciding what’s safe to automate — and several of the highest-value workflows in a school don’t touch student data at all.
